Phil and Hafeeza McKinnes
Lead Pastor
Phil and Hafeeza have served in multiple ministries throughout the years including children’s, youth, and adult ministry. They have also ministered as lead, associate, and worship pastors for over twenty years. In addition, Phil is currently a full-time hospice chaplain and Hafeeza is a public school teacher. They have been married for over thirty-five years and have two lovely daughters. Both Phil and Hafeeza fully love Jesus and have a passion for helping others grow closer to God. Pastor Phil assumed the role of Head Pastor in January 2026.

Bob and Becky McMillian
Pastor Emeritus
In July of 1987, Pastor Bob, his wife Becky, and their two children moved to Independence, Oregon, to become the Lead Pastors of Cornerstone Church. Pastor Bob is known for his ability to teach the Bible in a fresh and practical way, engaging both those new to faith as well as experienced believers. In January 2026 Pastor Bob stepped back from the Head Pastor role, and continues to serve the church and community in an advisory role.
Pastor Bob’s heart for the surrounding communities of Independence and Monmouth go beyond the four walls of Cornerstone Church. He served as a police-fire Chaplain for the first responders ministering to families in crisis for over 25 years.
